Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. Her budget was supplemented with a student stipend and part-time jobs. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. However, she left prior to her group being asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. The main part of her role was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album was released in the year 1992. Commercially and critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... It's the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, during the 80s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva with many of her most popular songs such as Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album, features cover versions of popular songs like No MoreILove Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums as well as a compilation album at her disposal.
