Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox felt that her skills were inferior to those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. But she quit prior to her group being requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul tracks. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her album Now I Let it go... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland, is a charitable philanthropist and political activist. She sings. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with her debut album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, which was released in 1995, features the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). She has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
