Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her skills compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox started out as an instrument player within the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I Letting You Go... It is the perfect accompaniment to her work of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 when she released the album of Diva with many of her most popular tracks like Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album that features cover versions of popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
