Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in comparison with other Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 when she joined the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. The singer was the primary singer for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. That was also where she met Dave Stewart with whom she formed the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released in 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I Letting You Go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
