Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox received a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. The group did not appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was the lead singer to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. This is where she first met Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her solo debut album Diva and it was released around 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. is the companion album of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now I'll Let You Go... The album is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. After a brief success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva that featured many of her most popular songs such as Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks such asNo MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and her compilation album have a lot of tracks.
