Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she studied the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox was able to survive on the stipend of a student as well as working part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared to that of her classmates. Then she began to consider alternatives. Lennox was initially an instrument player within the band Dragons Playground. She left the band shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's talent show New Faces. She was the main vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create The Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva, which was released in 1992. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera a collection comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let You Go... It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox started her own solo career, releasing the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. The album features covers of songs like No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit.
