Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born performer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was admitted as a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for a period of three years. Lennox was able to survive on a student allowance and part-time job to help supplement her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she considered other avenues she could explore. Lennox was first introduced to the world of music with a band in 1976. with the group Dragons Playground. The group broke up when they were in I.T.V's talents show New Faces. The singer was the primary singer in The Tourists a British pop group between 1977 and the year 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox later began working on her debut solo album Diva that was out around 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favourite soul, jazz and blues songs from her early years. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano tracks that she improvised. The E.P. is a companion piece to her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You go... Her first independent album.
