Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox received a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. She lived off of a student allowance and took on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with the other Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group broke up shortly before their appearance in I.T.V's talent program New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva which came out in 1992. The album was a massive success with regard to the sales as well as the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues and soul from early childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. This E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now I'll Let You go... The album is also her debut independently-released album.
