Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, which are now known by the name of Maureen O'Hara, would certainly qualify her for the "child prodigy" category. For a young Irish girl surrounded with gifted parents and extended families, these qualities were natural. Maureen was welcomed into this cherished sanctuary within Ranelagh, Ireland on August 17th 1920. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons is her mom. She was a accomplished contralto.
