Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress who has a broad range of abilities, mainly associated with sitcoms in TV, got the best opportunity to shine in Jeff Foxworthy's spouse on ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired on the network for one season, from 1995 to. Barone was on stage for the first time when she was five years old in Detroit when her family relocated from St Louis. When she was 23, Barone appeared in over 50 productions. Many of them took place performed in the regional and university theatres. Her stage credits include Juliet from "Romeo as well as Juliet," Helen Keller in the stage version in "Monday After The Miracle" and the title performance of Agnes, a young tortured nun, from "Agnes of the Gods." Her first screen appearance was a minor role in "The The Rosary Murders", a cameo in "Ricochet", and the lead in indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" which premiered in 1996. Barone got her first recognizable Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) which was a failed attempt to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart," a 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She eventually came back to her regular sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
